Welcome to the

Epigenomics Lab

at Clemson University

Coming December 2023!

The lab is led by principal investigator Dr. Shyamalika Gopalan, and is based in the Department of Genetics and Biochemistry on the main campus of Clemson University. Shyamalika is also affiliated with the Center for Human Genetics.

Research in my group seeks to understand the factors that drive patterns of human phenotypic variation by analyzing genetic and epigenetic data from diverse human populations. Read more about our research.

I am actively recruiting postdocs and graduate students for a diverse and interdisciplinary lab. If you have a background in genetics, evolution, anthropology, statistics, computer science, or a related field, please get in touch! See our current opportunities for information on how to apply.
